Here’s the synopsis of Grimm from tv.com:
A supernatural crime drama involving a police detective (played by David Giuntoli) who can see the dual nature of creatures among us hiding in human form. As the descendant of the Grimms, he can see their inner natures. He also has the responsibility of being judge, jury, and sometimes executioner for crimes among these “others” for which there are no human laws that apply.
When I’m not working these days, I’m into pure escapism. My job tends to be stressful (but who’s isn’t?), and I come home and want to immerse myself in fantasy. Books, movies, and television programs that scare the willies out of me.
The biggest obstacle I’ve faced getting into Grimm is its time during the television season. Grimm is on every Friday night at 9 p.m., and that’s the same time as Fringe.
No excuse on my part, as I’ve got cable television and could have kept up via On Demand.
But it’s summer, there are no new episodes of Fringe for awhile, and I started watching Grimm to get my fantasy fix. It’s helped that one of my favorite actresses, Mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio, is guest starring on this fun series.
If you have not watched Grimm, I hope you get a chance to check it out. It’s fun, there’s lots of things that go bump in the night, lots of scary creatures, blood and gore.
Otherkin is a fun book!

A word or two about why I love Pure Textuality:
I have learned to love fantasy, especially urban fantasy. It’s an escape for me, because I deal with reality every day in my work. Reading and writing reviews about fantasy is my escape from this reality. In ten years of doing very stressful work, my association with Pure Textuality has provided me the healthiest way to “tune out” after work and relax. Yoga helps also 🙂
