Seattle police officer killed; search on for shooter | KOMO News – Seattle, Washington | Local & Regional

Last night, a veteran Seattle Police Department officer was training a new officer.

The SPD patrol car was parked.

A car pulled up next to the patrol car and just started shooting.

The veteran police officer was killed by multiple gun shots.

The rookie was able to get out of the patrol car, and fired shots back. She was wounded, and is expected to survive.

Today my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the murdered police officer.

Senseless violence.

Once again, I am reminded to accept every day as a gift, and to love my family unconditionally.

Life is so precious, and can be gone in a flash.

Have a wonderful Sunday, my friends.

  3. Sad news. There is so little respect for life. I sometimes wonder if a lot of it has to do with all the violent games young people play with on their electronic gadget.

Nothing is shocking to hear anymore, people are becoming numb.
