Happy Valentines Day to me

I scored this nifty little Cuisinart Toaster Oven Broiler at Bed Bath and Beyond the other day.

It makes great toast, and I can bake a whole chicken in it if I’m so inclined.

Maybe next week.

Baked potatoes are yummy cooked in this little number!

I thought this was a wiser investment than buying lots of chocolate.

Course, now I’m dreaming about ripping the head off a chocolate Easter Bunny (Bartell’s was putting out Easter candy yesterday).

But I shall continue to resist.

Maybe a small bunny?

A chocolate egg?

Jelly beans?

This is going to be tough.

  1. Is it kind of like a microwave? I’ve never come across anything called a broiler before..

  2. No, this one does not have a microwave, Lady Banana. You need to rearrange the racks to toast, bake, and broil. Here's the link: http://www.cuisinart.com/catalog/product.php?product_id=56&item_id=95&cat_id=15I got it for $20 under list price!

  10. That looks good Gran and very manageable. As for the chocolate, hold out until Easter then make yourself incredibly ill. That is what I plan to do. As long as I dont get a taste of it I am ok. Its when I start to eat some I cant stop. Yes I know, my will power is non existent. Hope you are doing well!
