It’s a dark and stormy night

Wind, rain with little bits of ice, and it’s getting really cold.

It’s a dark and stormy night, my friends.

We expect snow later tonight or early tomorrow morning.

The moon has been really cool the last few nights; I snapped this last night when I got home from work.

I snapped the other photo this afternoon; it was raining and very windy when I got home about 3:00 p.m.

It was good to come home early and just relax.

  1. Your camera is rocking, Gran 🙂

  2. Thanks, Braja. I’m having fun with it!

  3. Gran, you get late home from work or how early does it get that dark? I hav eto admit the weather here in Australia is getting a bit crazy too. Where I live there are really strong winds at the moment and very cold – its summer and I am thinking about putting the heater on.

  4. Stormy here also, not stopped raining and blowing for more than 12 hours now..

  5. Lilly, I get home between 5-6 every night. Right now, it’s dark at 4:30. Solstice is the 21, I think, which is our shortest day of the year. After solstice, the days get a bit longer every day!Lilly, it’s so interesting to me that you are thinking of turning your heater on in the summer. Seattle usually stays in the 40s during the winter, but we are gearing up for temps in the low thirties and high twenties (f).Stay warm, dear Lilly.

  6. Lady Banana, stay warm and dry!
