A decision to make, and a new toy

My supervisor called me into her office on Monday, and asked me to apply for a supervisor position that is coming up soon (this week).

I’ve been with this agency for almost eight years, and it’s not the first time I’ve been asked to switch to the administrative side of the business.

But it’s the first time I’m seriously considering applying.

The job has not been posted yet, but I am updating my resume.

I’ll let you know if I apply (maybe).

On a lighter note, my brand spankin’ new Canon digital camera came yesterday (see above).

I probably will not open the box until the weekend, because I always get fussy figuring out new things.

Especially when any kind of technology is involved.

I’ll keep you informed, for sure, of my progress with the camera.

TTFN.

  1. Can’t wait to see the pictures, Gran. And glad you’re going for the job. People who know what’s really involved need to be in the administration.

  3. Go for the job Gran – it sounds like things are settled enough for you to really go for it. My daughter just bought a similar camera – they are great and she is having loads of fun. Great time of year to get one too! Looking forward to some photos – I have my camera with me at all times, just in case. Its addictive but so much easier than cameras of the past.

  4. Yay a new camera! My only gripe is I leave mine at home too much, and you guessed it, see amazing things to photograph when I’m out. Don’t forget your camera, that’s all I’ll say ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Leigh, I may have more time tonight, will probably see how far I can get. I’m usually toast, at night when I get home from work, and my usual routine is shower, dinner, computer, book, and bed ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for the comment.
