Hundreds of thousands lose power as Gustav pounds coast – CNN.com

My name is Beth, aka Gran, and I’m a disaster junkie.

I just can’t seem to tear my eyes away from the television screen.

And worse, I’ve discovered CNN Live on my laptop.

Well, at least I’m not swilling beer or doing drugs as I watch.

My best to the folks in the path of Gustav.

Now we have to worry bout new storms.

stay safe, folks.

  1. Gosh. Natural disasters. They seem to be everywhere and happening more often. I pray for the victims.

  2. I am with you Gran – I cant turn my eyes away either. An there are more happening everyday so its best to be on the lookout because you never know when CNN is going to report a isaster coming your way. I hate the thought of even leaving home these days.
